Combustible Alarms

Combustible Alarms (“An exciting collective of up and coming London-based jazz musicians” – TimeOut).

CA is led by Franco-British composer and guitarist Chris Rodgers, a graduate of Berklee College of Music’s film scoring and jazz composition departments.
Chris’ work includes theatre, dance and film, and his music has been heard on TV and radio across the USA and Europe. He has previously worked in New York for JSM Music (America’s largest Commercial Music Production Company, voted one of the Top 5 Jingle houses by Shoot magazine) and more recently he has completed the score for Tavishi Alagh’s forthcoming Bollywood Crossings, a film about the subculture of Hindi film entertainment in the United States.
Probably due to his varied and colourful globe-trotting background, from which he draws much inspiration, Chris embraces both the traditional and the cutting-edge. His approach to music is both reactionary and revolutionary, and is defined by the evolutionary thread running through the artists who have influenced him. This constant evolution is what he seeks to achieve within all his musical activities in order to keep his sound fresh and innovative, and at the forefront of modern music.
