Jon Wygens is an award winning composer for film , television and theatre.Based in London he has scored dozens of documentaries and television series including the acclaimed travel show Lonely Planet (now known as Pilot Guides/Globe Trekker), the BAFTA nominated series Grand Designs and many others for the BBC, Channel Four ,ITV , Discovery and others.He has also scored several short films and has worked extensively in experimental theatre , notably with BAFTA winning dance company EARTHFALL.

He has composed music for several commercials including L'Oreal Garnier , Amtrack and The British Heart Foundation

As a guitarist he has toured and recorded with artists such as legendary jazz-punk pioneers BLURT , cult UK band THE BLUE AEROPLANES (Beggars Banquet ,EMI), JUKES (Twisted Nerve) and PORTISHEAD producer Geoff Barrow and New York based singer MCKAY (Universal).
