For the past decade, Luca Rossetti has been steadily building a reputation as a top-flight commercial composer for advertising giant MPS in Brescia, Italy. A trained classical pianist and composer, Rossetti graduated with honours from the Conservatorio Luca Marenzio di Brescia, and went on to win prestigious awards at competition level, including both the Concorso Internazionale di Composizione di Villafranca and di Lucca.
His latest work, published by the fine Velut Luna label, is Colori, a crossover album that sees Rossetti as composer, lyricist and pianist. Colori has been feted as: “A genuine and heartfelt interpretation by Rossana Coraglia on the melodies and lyrics by Luca Rossetti. Rossetti’s passion for new technologies has recently brought him to experiment with the use of virtual orchestras such as the Vienna Symphonic Library for his own and other people’s compositions. He is currently studying further composition under the guidance of legendary classical guitar composer, Paolo Ugoletti.
